Waynesville Recreation Center

On December 18, 2000, the Waynesville Recreation Center officially opened, named for Mr. Bob Brannon, a local resident, who began pioneering the building’s conception over 30 years ago. The facility is 64,000 square feet and has a water play park, lap pool, 1/10 mile rubber walking track, two basketball courts, weight room, aerobics room, spin cycle room, cardio area, two racquetball courts, a stretch room and a multipurpose room that is used for meetings, parties, showers, family reunions, etc.
