The Onesie One Miler is a festive downtown dash to the finish line that’s fun for the entire family! This race starts at 10:30AM, right before the beginning of the Asheville Holiday Parade. Get dressed up in your holiday best and join us for a run through Downtown Asheville! Onesies encouraged but not required. There will be special awards for the best Onesie. A commemorative beanie is included in registration!
This is a chip timed point to point race that starts at the intersection of Patton Avenue & Clingman Avenue and finishes in the Galaxy Room parking lot. Packet Pick Up is at Jan Davis Tires at 209 Patton Avenue. All roads will be closed in preparation for the Asheville Holiday Parade. Parking is available downtown. Runners will have a time limit of 30 minutes and must be off the course by 11AM, no exceptions. There will be no course aid for this race.

Stroller & Dog Policy
Strollers are welcome in this event! We just ask that you start at the back of the pack. Dogs are not allowed to join for the race.*
*For safety purposes, and in compliance with our race insurance, we do not allow dogs or any other animals to run with participants at our events. Service animals will be allowed with prior approval (more than 5 days ahead of race day send request to info@kickitevents.com) and supporting documentation. Running with your animal will result in disqualification from award categories and timing results.

One Mile Course Info
The race will start at the intersection of Patton Avenue & Clingman Avenue. Runners will start running down Patton Avenue and turn right on Biltmore Avenue. Runners will turn right into the Galaxy Room parking lot and meet the finish line.
Roads will be closed for the entire duration of the race. Runners MUST be off the course by 11AM, no exceptions. If you do not finish the race in 30 minutes, you must walk off the course on to the sidewalk.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Kick It Event Management (Kick It Events) and the Onesie One Miler have a no refund policy. Our team works year round to produce our high quality events. Even if the event is canceled we have already incurred time and expenses with planning for the event that are non-refundable. Please see the guidelines below.

Refunds
- No refunds will be given if you signed up for this race by accident. Double check the city, date and time BEFORE registering.
- There are no refunds for injury or illness.
- There are no refunds for work or event conflicts.
- There will be NO REFUNDS if the event needs to be cancelled.
- If the event needs to be canceled due to a global pandemic, national health emergency, state of emergency in the area or catastrophic event, there will be no refund.
- We do not allow deferrals.
Cancelation
- In the event the race needs to be canceled there will be no refunds.
- The cancellation announcement will be made as early as we can. If there is surprise weather we reserve the right to cancel the race up until race morning.
- We will always try to postpone the race if needed but sometimes permitting, weather etc does not allow for a postponement.
- If the event needs to be canceled due to a global pandemic, national health emergency, state of emergency in the area or catastrophic event, there will be no refund. We will do our best with a virtual event or socially distanced race. Please understand that we purchase your race items months ahead of time and we will get these items to you if the event is canceled last minute.
- Race cancellation will be emailed out to runners using the email used during registration, posted on the race website (https://kickitevents.com/onesie-one-miler//) as well as posted on our social media platforms.
- Race updates will be sent to the email address you registered with. Always make sure that your email is correct.
Transfers
- You may transfer your registration to being a virtual runner up to 5 days before the event using the transfer button on the registration page.
- You may transfer your registration to another runner or to a different distance up to 5 days before the event using the transfer button on the registration page.
- After the 5 day cut off please reach out to Info@kickitevents.com for help with transferring.
